Roast pork tray juices
1 Tbsp flour
1 cup of water or stock
Salt & pepper
Remove cooked roast pork from the tray, drain off as much fat as possible.
Add 1 Tbsp of flour to pan juices and cook over a medium-hot element, whisking for 5 minutes while scraping all of the crusty bits in. It will be a thick paste at this point.
Add 1 cup of water or stock and mix into a paste and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Add a little more stock or water if you like a thinner gravy.
Season with pepper and salt as required and serve hot.
No roast is complete without a delicious homemade gravy - and it's easier than you think!
