The 100% New Zealand Bacon & Ham Awards celebrates the country’s finest pork goods, produced from 100% New Zealand, born and raised pork from PigCare™ accredited farms.

Us Kiwi’s will find any excuse to eat bacon – whether it’s on its own, wrapped around a prune, in Mac’n Cheese or the classic bacon sarnie. Ham can also hold its own, and not just on the Christmas table, it’s a family staple – on pizzas, in rolls and of course you can’t beat a ham and cheese toasty! They are so popular that it’s only fitting there’s a competition to find Aotearoa’s best.

Entries are now open

Entries have now opened for Retailers to put their best products forward, with judging taking place mid-June and winners being announced early July.

The competition encompasses seven bacon categories, and two ham categories, and is open to all retailers who produce bacon and ham from New Zealand Pork (from PigCare™ accredited farms) and available at retail level in New Zealand.
