Method

Dice or slice kassler and serve with some of the following:

  • cheeses
  • cherry tomatoes
  • olives
  • artichokes
  • figs and dried apricots
  • melon chunks
  • marinated mushrooms
  • black olives
  • snow peas

Variations: Processed pork products such as traditional ham, prosciutto (parma ham), and pork pastrami are great to include on platters.

(Kassler is cured pork loin which is smoked and cooked).

To serve

Serve with a variety of fancy breads and crackers.
